Common building amenities include a community dining room, a therapy gym, multiple living rooms and sitting areas, activity spaces, a landscaped courtyard, and an on-site beauty salon/barbershop. For safety and security, the facility is ADA compliant, fully sprinklered, and fire alarm monitored, and the premises are electronically secured with a guest check-in system.

Beyond the facility’s nursing, therapy, and assistance with daily activities, third party specialists provide on-site podiatry, dentistry, optometry, dietary consulting, x-ray, and lab services.

Our community offers resident engagement based on a person-centered assessment completed by our activity team shortly after admission. The plan for each guest is determined by their personal needs and preferences.

Our team understands how each individual’s leisure time is an item of personal preference and can vary greatly based upon many social, cultural, cognitive and physical factors.

Quality dining is among the most important amenities in any healthcare facility. Signature Pointe strives to provide nutritious, healthy, and tasty meals served in an atmosphere of gracious hospitality.

While many residents prefer to take their meals in their rooms, for all others, Signature Pointe provides restaurant-style dining that far exceeds the industry standard.

Signature Pointe’s superior dietary program is centered on quality and variety. The preparation of each meal begins with the highest quality and freshest ingredients. We prioritize fresh fruits and vegetables and rarely use frozen or canned produce.

Our daily menu offers variety with multiple options at each meal and several items that are available 24/7. Our menus cycle over the course of several weeks and are then completely rotated on a seasonal basis to ensure variety.

We provide additional options at each meal for residents on restricted diets including heart healthy, vegetarian and gluten-free, and sugar-free dessert. We take a patient-centered approach, so meals are made available when the resident wants them, not based on a regimented schedule.

We believe the social aspects of dining are critical to our residents’ overall sense of well-being. In our dining rooms we strive to provide a restaurant-like experience complete with decorated tables and background music. We provide special meals or brunch at seasonally appropriate times.

Signature Pointe features an on-site pharmacy service. The service is facilitated by a computer-controlled dispensary stocked with over one hundred of the most commonly prescribed senior medications. The dispensary is connected to a remote pharmacist who fills prescriptions written by a resident’s medical doctor.

The primary benefit to our seniors is that when a medicine is needed it can often be readily obtained within fifteen minutes, even if it is in the middle of the night or weekend. This feature is particularly important for post-acute surgical residents with delayed arrivals from a slow hospital discharge process who may be in need of pain management medications. It is also a feature of convenience for our long-term residents.

In a senior community, television services play an important role in the quality of life for both the residents and visiting family members. Signature Pointe distinguishes itself by providing a flat screen television in each resident room with many larger format televisions throughout the facility’s common areas.

Each resident room television is specially built for seniors, equipped with large fonts making channel selections easier to see. TVs also feature a simplified remote control with fewer and larger buttons, and there is no cable box with a secondary remote control, which can be confusing for many seniors.

Our TV programming is enjoyed by people of all ages; it features the news, movies, sports, and local channels most preferred by seniors. Additionally, Signature Pointe also has the ability to broadcast its own selection of movies and other specialty programming 24 hours a day to guest rooms.
